Dean Kmieick, Skating Instructor
Last season Dean played Junior A ice hockey and his goals for next season are to join the NAHL. Dean has been at CORE for the last 3 years, he is also one of our Kris Draper hockey school instructors. Dean enjoys instructing CORE clients on stick handling as well as puck control; our clients really enjoy learning little tricks from Dean. He also enjoys working on helping people improve their biomechanics of skating, as well the art of passing and receiving. When Dean is not on the ice its no break from hockey he hits the roller hockey court. Dean took his first trip to the NARCH (North American Roller Hockey Championship) when he was 6 years old, sponsored by Mission Hockey. At the age of only 15 The Richmond Robins who are in the Professional Inline Hockey Association drafted him. Dean’s main focus is ice hockey but he still really enjoys roller as well. Dean still plays in Platinum Division; he played for Team Michigan in the AAA State Wars.
