Plyometric Training
 Plyometrics is a type of exercise training designed to produce fast, powerful movements that will help to improve the performance of an athlete.  A Plyometric exercise is described as a movement in which  a muscle is loaded and then contracted in rapid sequence.  Plyometrics can be used to increase the speed or force of muscular contractions.  The goal of these exercises is often to increase the vertical leap of an athlete.  Plyometrics should be done under supervision of a professional trainer to prevent improper form and injury.
